“Art should disturb the comfortable

& comfort the disturbed.” - Cesar A. Cruz

I am a Queer, Mexican-American, Brooklyn-based theatre artist with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Lindenwood University. When I’m not working on a show I’m probably typewriting, keeping up on my yoga practice, listening to Joni Mitchell, reveling in an art museum, or biking around trying to find the best cookie in the city. My artistic philosophy is that art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable. Let’s collaborate and make some weird art! See me talk about one of my latest projects, HAIR: The Tribal Love Rock Musical, below!

You can check out some elements from my newest mixed media installation “THE PLACATION VACATION” below or find my theatre materials at the top of the screen!
